Justin Bieber Has Most Active Facebook Fans!!

The army of Bielebers is far more active on Facebook than Gaga’s little monsters. According to stats from FanGager, Lady Gaga might have more fans than Justin Bieber, but fans of the Canadian tween sensation are far more engaged.

For the first time, New York-based startup FanGager has published a list of the top 100 Facebook fan pages. But it doesn’t rank pages according to the highest number of fans, rather it favors fans that are the most active, or who “like” and comment on posts with the most frequency.

“We define Active Users for those who do meaningful community activities, including Like, Comments, Posts, etc., which represents the real engagement activities,” FanGager founder and CEO Eran Gefen told PCMag.

FanGager is a CRM-based social media management and engagement company; it helps clients like Red Bull, Nokia, and TV show “Big Brother” best harness their fans’ potential in the social graph. It’s similar to Klout, a site that shows individuals how effective they are on sites like Twitter or Facebook.

According to stats from the site, Bieber has about 20 million fans. Although that’s close to the number of people who are faithful to rapper Lil’ Wayne (20.9 million) and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo (21.1 million), Justin Bieber has the highest percentage of active fans at 1.8 percent (359,116). Weezy only has 57,527 active fans and Ronaldo has 37,994 active fans.

After Beiber, the most engaged fans are those of Zynga’s social game, “Texas Hold’em Poker.” This game has about 38 million fans, and around 337,598 are active. UK football club Manchester United has the third most active fan population, followed by musical sitcom “Glee.” Fans of President Barack Obama are the fifth most active on Facebook.
